Abstract To explore the flow mechanism of micro-remaining oil during cyclic waterflooding in low-permeability reservoir, displacement effect under conventional and different rounds was investigated by using a micro-visual experiment based on microfluidics model. The produced ratio types micro remaining quantified, major oils that can be applied effectively were analyzed. Moreover, investigated. Research results demonstrated clustering type columnar waterflooding. After three waterflooding, clustering-type decreased 2.50% average, columnar-type 0.81% average. is introduced as follows: at intervals exchange with water pores, throats, spaces between big small pores due to fluctuation pressure field capillary force. As result, redistribute. Clustering-type become movable oils.
